The chariot rider
The poet asks, “o mother, men take what you give,
They live by you. Yet they plunder your wealth!”
The mother says, “let them do as they might.
They aren’t my only children. The rest are stronger
and mightier. If they got angry, men will drop dead”
Whatever our eternal mother, Nature, created she did so for a reason. She gave humankind a bit of more brains but the immense strength lies in her world and not with us. She is the chariot rider and the world will abide by what she says.
